While everyone in the other faculties is studying hard for finals, we FCMers are busying rushing our final assignments, like usual. Those who don't understand us will just think that we're really free. Can always relax and go shopping have fun? Tell you, I've never been to IOI for few months already. Many of them thought I always go there. ( Go there for what? =.=) So where do I always go? Hmm I always go printing shop, to print assignments of course. Normally A1 A3 A4 color printing. And also Master Art that sells stationeries and art tools which costs me a lot. Seriously a lot for me! Others always see our assignments like *cake*, just a piece of cake. Some of them says " Aiyo FCMers so good la so easy only ma, they have no test no exam no quiz no mid term no stress no book low expenditure no calculation no writing so damn free. "
1. No quiz no mid term? We have quiz and midterm for some of the subjects too! And I'm having 4 subjects for finals. 40%.I know its lesser than other faculties but our assignmentsssss are more than yours!
2. No stress? I think people who said this might doesn't really know anyone from FCM. Of course we are more cheerful than you guys. :p
3. No book? Yes. We don't have any book. Lecturer asked us to buy but we refused to buy coz its too expensive! But we do have book in digital form.
4. Low expenditure? I don't know how much I've spent for my assignments. I can't even count it. And I'm not dare to count it. A1 printing + framing = around RM100. but not every assignment costs that much la of course.
5. No calculation? We have also formulas to memorize and calculation for selected subjects.
6. No writing? I have essay type assignments too. Yes, normal uni essay which requires you to give more about your opinion those shit. Well, I hate this type of assignment. -.-
7. FREE? Did i heard wrongly? There's something wrong with your observation skill. D: I hope I'm free too. Maybe they sees us as fun. Or maybe there's some misunderstanding between us and other students. Maybe the trips? Most of the field trips (or site visits) are for assignments kay. I don't want to go too! >.< Maybe most of us know how to 苦中寻乐 ba XD You guys can go out having fun during weekends or even weekdays after class. But we only have the chance to go out during exam week. :P As it is the only FREE time we got since we have lesser subjects for finals than others. We will also seek for the opportunities to have our lunch outside. But mostly not everyone in our gang can go out together due to transport and maybe financial problem too. You know, Cyberjaya is the desert or forest of Selangor. Although it is improving, but it is still a forest! You must have the transport to travel anywhere else other than Cyberia mamak and those "cafes" in MMU. And we are really poor... Dont ever think that I'm "rich". >.<
:: For those who says or think that art and design courses are for people with no future or people who studying art and design courses are useless. I tell you, the clothes you wearing, the ticking clock on your wall, the chair you sitting, the bed you sleep, the laptop you watching, the TV and the phone you using, all of them are designers' works. If you don't like design, don't wear anything don't use anything go back and stay in your forest with your pet monkey. :P
